​The British Museum for Kids with Quiz, Drama, Crafts and Costumes

We will look at some of the museum's highlights, but with some puzzles, crafts, costumes and activities for the kids to keep them amused, with particular emphasis on the Egyptian Galleries. We will examine the Rosetta Stone, and learn how to read hieroglyphs, and create our own secret messages, see a 7th century ancient ship burial,  the chess pieces which inspired Wizard Chess in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and examine the body of a 5,000 year old man!
