Jewish London Walking Tour - Synagogues and Soup Kitchens

​In 1290, Edward I expelled the Jewish community from England and it was more than 350 years before they were readmitted. We will retrace the footsteps of the Jewish immigrants as we take a look inside one of the oldest synagogues in England. We will then take a stroll through the areas of Spitalfields:

Highlights include: 

• A unique Jewish history of the Tower of London
• An inside visit of one of England's oldest synagogues, Bevis Marks or Sandys Row.
• The site of an old soup kitchen
• The spot where the first Yiddish theatre was established
• A very unusual museum of Immigration
